1998   Grandparents' little "angels" Jesse Carl 6 years old - Jeannette Alida 3 months old 11/02/98

As most of you know, we became proud grandparents again on August 2 to a healthy, beautiful granddaughter, Jeannette Alida Sheppard. Judy was fortunate to visit the grandchildren at the end of August, just in time to help celebrate Jesse's 6th birthday! We toured the new, unique FDR Memorial. All of us went to Maryland for Jeannette's baptism, November 1.

Jeffrey still lives in Lenora, KS, working for Rural Telephone. He does come to Hays often; we always have several projects for him!!!

James & Judith still work for Dillons & Fort Hays State University, respectively. Jim really enjoys working on his Model A at Doc Hilgers! Judy gets herself deeper & deeper into special projects; mainly dealing with computer work.

We traveled to Oklahoma several times, to visit with Judy's mom, Ida Hohmann.

The Sheppards are coming the first part of January; we're anxiously awaiting the New Year!

We acquired a color laser printer, because James was getting tired of purchasing ink cartridges ­ after the initial cost, it's suppose to be cheaper???
