Sure looks like I should The hose is out to help save them?

April 1 (wished the temperature would've been an April Fool's joke): The temperature was 26 (according to channel 8) -- I sprinkled the apricot tree (also the peach trees) at 5 am -- so much for thinking it would be warmer in town... When I turned on the water, it had slush in the hose. I did sprinkle it anyway, I mistakenly also sprayed the cat who climbed in the tree (it was still) dark. I'll probably have to wait until next year to get good fresh apricots :-(
Something to look forward to ....

April 11: looks like a lot of buds on the ground, but maybe some - left , hopefully...
Is that optimistic, realistic, or pessimistic? Have to wait & see...

April 13: 30 deg. - sprinkled around 6:30 am
April 14: 26 deg. - sprinkled around 4:30 am
- probably took away any hope. Now are my peach trees in danger, again? At least there are some good tasting peaches in the stores - won't say that about apricots.
April 18: 30 deg. - didn't sprinkle because it was sprinkling all day and everything was saturated

April 21: I found some tiny apricots. "Nature's pruning" probably took care of most of them. I'm not holding my breath or counting them until I start harvesting them, don't want to jinx them.

Sunday, April 25: 28 deg... Need to thin them if they continue to grow, but how do I pick which one(s) (since they survived after all of this turmoil...)??

Decisions, decisions... Mother Nature will probably do some.

Now I don't know about the peach trees...
