hmm-mm new tree wounds

Jerry asked me last snoodle day how the huge tree limb was moved that was 17th & Pine. I didn't know that there was a big limb. I replied "all I've seen were small twigs."

Then my neighbor (Frenchie) mentioned to me yesterday (01/15/07) that he had called the city if they'd pick up my limbs since I would be gone when they would be picking up the down limbs since he wasn't able to do it. They said that they would. I guess they first picked up the huge one (it was hollow) on 17th, but left the huges ones in the back across the sidewalk and by my dirt pile. So he called them again they said, that they would pick them up which I guess they did -- tax dollars at work.

I haven't talked to the neighbor boy(s) who gave the cat some food while I was gone.

I should've figured there would be a problem when The Hays picture was sent of the "pretty" ice -- rather fortunate - just another project.

I'm also glad I haven't figured out what type of fence I want because it would've have gotten broken also--- I know I'd like some kind of a brick fence, but couldn't afford that, so----
