Found this turtle going south on Vine (Hwy 183) under I-70, strolling across the highway on Sunday, Sept. 24. I stopped and picked him up. He went inside it's shell, but soon was bumping around in the car and even climb into the passenger seat. He wanted free when I took him home. My cat, Mat, found it in the yard. I called Jeff to see if they would be interested in having it in their yard. He mentioned that he would probably run over it. I mentioned that that was his future anyway. When I visited with Pat, they would take it, but of course, I couldn't find it then (hopefully, Mat didn't find it). I then figured the turtle would jump and holler "Geronimo" from their garden anyway:-)
