Cannoli
1 lb. fresh ricotta (2 cups)
1/4 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 c. corn syrup
1 Tbsp. orange peel
1/2 tsp. Grand Marnier
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. shelled unsalted pistachios (not dyed red), chopped
2 oz. minature chocolate candies, M&M's semi-sweet (1/2 cup)
from Bellino's box:
12 oz. (1.5 cups) ricotta cheese (drained of all water)
with 4 oz. (1/2 cup) sifted confectioners sugar.
Hand mix well, then add 1/4 tsp. of vanilla,
2 oz. Bitter-sweet chocolate chips,
1 Tbsp. diced candied fruits,
a dash of cinnamon
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate.Fills 6 shells. Or fill Bellino Cannoli shells with your choice of Ice Cream, Pudding, Custard Cream or Yogart.
