The amount I counted
This could be wrong - it's too
far up*. A different angle when the picture was taken which
made it difficult to actually count, not very scientific!

The size of one
It had a worm in it. Not a good sign for either fruit or computer! The second one I ate that fell off today (6/22/99) ws delicious!

The apricots may be ready in a week or
two unless the worms, birds, wasps, pirates*, and/or weather
beat you to them!

We wondered why
the fruit on the limbs was less with few on the ground &
found some of them in a pile. Then the "pirates"
were caught, our neighbor's boys had a sack full of the green
fruits. Thus, the lower branches are fruitless. We'll need a
ladder to retrieve the fruit, especially from the apricot &
pear trees. The peach trees were too low to survive our "pirates"
(may have a handful). |
